What I would like to do is edit these for user contours, then when I created it there would be a default of sorts. I made a support call to our reseller and they mentioned that the only work around was to completely uninstall Civil3d, then reinstall back to SP1.
He mentioned that he was passing the information on to Autodesk and he would let me know if they had a fix. Naturally that kind of timing or solution doesn't really work for me. This problem will effect any drawing I have that has pipes in it. I want to know what you have done to work around this?
Is there a better solution than uninstalling Civil3d? This used to be created with a standard point style and description, but something has changed and I'm getting a different symbol and label that I definitely don't want as the default. I would think that this would be controled by the CreatePointGroup settings, but that isn't working for me.

The CAD default is the 1-point. Is there a way to change this default to the 2-point so I dont have to change it everytime? I can create the layer and apply a plot style but as soon as I create another layer with a different plotstyle, the layers I previously created lose their plot style it appears to be removed from the drawing I have tried workarounds such as placing an object and applying a plotstyle then deleting that plot style and that still doesnt seem to append it to the drawing.
